Planning update

 

In February and March 2018 a Public Local Inquiry into the wind farm plans was held in Thurso. Following the inquiry, the presiding Reporters are compiling the evidence before them in order to produce a Public Local Inquiry Report, along with a Recommendation to either consent or refuse the application, to Scottish Ministers. This report and recommendation is expected to be submitted to Scottish Ministers in Winter 2018/9.

 

We are currently awaiting Scottish Ministers determination of the application, which will be based on the Reporter's findings. The decision of Scottish Ministers will be published on this website.
